About Robert Meyers-Lussier

Robert Meyers-Lussier

My art is spontaneous. It represents a travelogue of plein air scenes that takes a bite out of time/space as I travel and experience life. As an author, a journalist and photographer; micro and macro moments matter. Color and pattern; joy and regret; nature's beginnings and endings; all intrigue me, within the framework of time. Most importantly, seasons matter. Based on a childhood spent weathering Minnesota's extremes, combined with an early, learned Japanese aesthetic; refinement of my mind's eye continues. I am forever in search of that most beautiful image that compels me to never forget that moment in time/space.
